Join us for an evening with Ashley "Iguana" Lowe, who will share videos, photos, and anecdotes from her 2011 hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. Her journey began at the Mexican Border and ended six months later at the Canadian Border.
The Pacific Crest Trail spans over 2,600 miles. It starts in the vast desert of California, unfolding into the mountainous wilderness of the High Sierras and ending in the pristine volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range in Washington.
Every year, hundreds of people take a step out of their normal life, leaving their jobs, families, friends and modern comforts behind in attempt to complete the trail.
Iguana is currently planning a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail from Montana to New Mexico.
Whether you are planning your own long distance hike, just getting into hiking, or are an armchair traveler who enjoys stories of the outdoors, this presentation will have something for you.
