Teen Summer Reading Contest

Make Waves at Your Library , the Teen Summer Contest, is for youth ages 12 to 18. Sign-up begins June 1st at the library's front desk. Teens who sign up will receive a contest record book. Raffle tickets can be earned for:

• Reading 150 pages
• Working one hour as a community volunteer (Church, Aquarium, Hospital, etc.)
• Reading ten magazine articles
• Reading aloud to someone else for one hour
• Listening to an audio book for one hour
• Posting a blog comment on Newportvirtuals@blogspot.com

There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets a person may earn. Weekly drawings will be held each Friday at 11:00 a.m. Winners will be contacted as soon as possible. Weekly drawings will be held from June 25 through August 19.
