LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Welcome to the Newport Parks and Recreation Site.  I hope that you find this site helpful as you navigate through and learn about the Department and some of the many things that happen at the Center and around the City.  I encourage you to get involved and be active in your daily lives. 

We have plenty of classes and opportunities to get in shape and have some fun.  Our Senior Center and Pool offer great activities, and the parks, ball fields, and trails afford you a diverse set of options.  Whether you live here or are just visiting, we invite you to take advantage of the services we provide.

Although I have only been here for a short while, I am very proud of our facilities and the dedicated staff that make the whole system work.  We continue to work hard and strive to give our patrons the best we have to offer.
