Drop in fee is $4.00. This is a low-impact aerobics class designed especially for seniors and those who wish a moderate paced class. This fun fitness program will help maintain and improve cardiovascular conditioning, circulation, flexibility and muscle tone. Music and low impact moves are especially geared to your desires and needs.

A gentle exercise program that is based upon the National Institute on Aging Go 4 Life Program. It will help to improve strength, balance , flexibility and endurance. Each participant receives a free copy of the GO4Life book and DVD. Join us in this free fitness class

Sybil Merriman, BA, RYT enjoys instructing, practicing and experiencing alignment-based hatha yoga with students of a variety of fitness levels, experiences and goals. She received a 200 hour teacher training at Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja Sur, Mexico where she studied Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Kirtan, Anatomy & Physiology, Yogic Philosophy, Ethics and Lifestyle. She also attended meditation training at the Shambhala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Sybil is an Associate Chef and Instructor of Raw Culinary Arts. She studied Anthropology and Philosophy at Tulane University, where she encountered her first yoga class

REGISTRATION: Registration for classes are at the Senior Center. Spaces are non-transferable.
PAYMENT: We accept Cash and Checks for payment for Senior Center classes. Please make checks payable to "CITY OF NEWPORT", unless otherwise noted. Your space is reserved upon receiving payment.
CANCELLATIONS: If you must cancel, please call the Senior Center as soon as you know you won't be able to attend. Our refund policy is as follows:
No Refunds will be given for activities that have a fee less than $25.00.
A $10.00 processing fee will be charged for all refunds issued at your request.
Refunds shall NOT be issued to participants who fail to show up for an activity they were registered for.
The Newport Senior Center reserves the right to cancel any activity due to low enrollment. Full refunds shall be made to all participants if this occurs, even if the cost of the activity is less than $25.00.
If you paid with cash or with a check, a refund check will be mailed to you approximately 6 weeks after your cancellations.
If your payment was made to another company, we'll abide by their cancellation and refund policies.
