The Newport Recreation Center is committed to making our facility and programs accessible to all members of the community. We offer several services to support this goal:
| * Aira ASL: Free on-demand sign language interpreting services * Aira Explorer: Free visual interpreting services for patrons who are blind or have low vision * Language Translation Device: Available for patrons who speak a language other than English * KultureCity Sensory Bags: Free to check out for individuals with sensory needs |

Recreation Center Check-In
When you arrive, you must check in at the control desk in the main lobby. For your convenience and safety, there is always a staff person on duty during open hours.
Building Restrictions
- Smoking, chewing tobacco, etc. is prohibited.
- Alcohol is not permitted in the Rec. Center.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the small gym, dressing rooms, dance room or meeting room 105. Exceptions may be made with prior management approval.
- Weapons and controlled substances are prohibited.
- The use of candles or any open flame is prohibited.
- Use of rice, birdseed, confetti, dance wax, or bubbles are prohibited.
- Special events, athletic leagues, and other events may be required to carry insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
