Speciality Classes

Beginning Argentine Tango - Lesson & Practice

Sundays, 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.
$5.00 drop-in - First class is free
Instructor: George Fosmire
Liven up your night with Tango! First hour will be a class for beginners to get them out on the dance floor learning Argentine Tango. This will be followed by a two hour ‘practica’ from 3:00 to 5:00 (practice dancing with all levels of tango dancers – help available on request). New students are always welcome.

 

INTRODUCING A JOURNEY THROUGH THE WIZARDING WORLD!

Starting January 2020
Every other month on the second Saturday, join us for Harry Potter trivia and a movie. Every other month we will progress through the story, ending just in time for the release of the next Fantastic Beasts in 2021. Bring your Potterhead friends for a chance to win a prize at trivia, then settle in for adventure at Hogwarts. Extra points for wearing your wizarding gear!
$5 per person, 4pm at the Rec Center

Basic Life Support: 10am-2pm, Friday Dec 20th

Offered in all Major Carriers (AHA, ARC, or ASHI). This course helps to each the Basics of Emergency life support. Developed for all levels of providers, this course helps build the foundations of Emergency Care & the actions needed for the Emergent Patient.


Blood Born Pathogen & First Aid: 5-9pm, Friday Dec 20th

Instructor: Kevin Wilson
Designed for all levels of provider and skills, this course meets OSHA regulations for Work Place Hazards and Infectious Disease. Learn or refresh yourself on infectious process, disease, and dangers of exposure to the health care provider.


Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support: 9am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday Dec 21st & 22nd

Offered in all Major Carriers (AHA, ARC, or ASHI). This course helps develop the skills & knowledge needed for the Advanced Provider to deal with a Cardiac Arrest & Resuscitation. With simulated scenarios, and interactive Course material, the Advanced Provider can refresh or develop life saving and life long skills.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support: 9am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday Dec 28th & 29th

Offered in all Major Carriers (AHA, ARC, or ASHI). This course helps develop the skills & knowledge needed to take care of Pediatric Cardiac Arrests and Resuscitation.
