Newport Recreation Center Announces Teen Fridays Lineup for Fall 2025

Newport Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the return of Teen Fridays, a series of fun, social events designed exclusively for local teens. This fall’s lineup includes everything from skating and trivia to haunted thrills and tasty DIY treats.

Teen Fridays Fall Schedule

• September 12 – Skate Out at Sam Moore Parkway Kick off the school year at this FREE outdoor event from 4:00-6:00 pm! Enjoy pizza, drinks, and music while skating with friends at Sam Moore Parkway.
• September 26 – DIY Pizza & Trivia Night Held at the Newport Recreation Center from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Create your own pizza, test your trivia skills, and win prizes! Cost is $3 or FREE with a Recreation Center pass.
• October 10 – Haunted Maze Trip to The Melon Shack Get ready for a spooky adventure on October 10 from 4:00-7:00 pm! Tickets include round-trip transportation from the Recreation Center, food/snacks, and entry into The Melon Shack’s haunted maze. Cost is $45 (general) or $42 with resident discount.
• November 14 – DIY Cupcakes & Movie Night Unwind with friends at the Recreation Center from 4:00–6:30 p.m. Decorate your own cupcakes and enjoy a movie on the big screen. Cost is $3 or FREE with a Recreation Center pass.

Pre-registration is encouraged for all Teen Friday events, especially the Haunted Maze trip, as space is limited.
